Plainstar walked to the entrance of the camp. He sat down and waited for his apprentice Cornpaw to arrive. He wondered what he would teach her. He thought and thought about it before he finally decided what to teach her. He hoped she would like her first lesson. First impressions do last a lifetime. He began to wonder how long he would have to wait for Cornpaw to arrive.

Cornpaw took her time wlking to her first training session. She didn't know if she should be looking forward to it yet or not. She saw her mentor sitting by the camp entrance. She walked over to her mentor and sat down. SHe began to wonder what she would learn about. "What am I learning bout today, Plainstar?" She asked her mentor wondering what he would say.

Plainstar looked over to his apprentice, Cornpaw and was happy that he had an apprentice. "Today you will learn how to hunt. We will go out to the territory and hunt some rabbit. Maybe ome bird if rabbit is too easy for you." He replied to his apprentices' question. He was glad that Cornpaw was asking questions, that ment there would be no confusion. There would be no confision because she would ask if she was confused, wich made Plainstar happy. "Follow me out to the terriotory." He told his apprentice.

Cornpaw listenedto her mentor, Plainstars, awnser. She was happy that she was goining to learn how to hunt, She had always learned how to hunt, since she used to be a kiitypet. SHe got up and followed her mentor out to the territory. She wondered what the territory loked like. She hadn't seem all of the territory yet, so ths excited her.
