General Warrior Cats News
September 3rd, 2009 The rolecall is almost over, so if you haven't posted yet, you should definitely do that to avoid being deleted. I will make exceptions to those who have posted/joined recently since its kind of hard to find.
Also, I just redid the threads in the positions board. Made em look like in the book :) I really like how it turned out, since it's a lot more helpful than just seeing whats open.
The plot has been moved to a thread in the General Board. If you need to read it, its over there.
Enjoy the site!

The Pasts In this nifty board, you can post the history of your cats. Only one thread per account, and all cats will be placed under that thread. Moderator: SkyClan
The Camp (5 sub-boards) The FireClan camp is located in a dense clearing near the the Burnt Oaks. Several oaks and pines loom over the little camp, almost always leaving it in darkness. The Clan was named after a small fire that cleared it to the ground. It also rumored that these cats has little fires around the camp for light, proven false. Moderators: SkyClan, Flamestar
The Territory (3 sub-boards) FireClan territory is a vast landscape that is dotted with small pines, except for the dark Burnt Oaks. These are the oldest trees in all the Clans, and some are scarred by the fire, but they're also the most terrifying. Sometimes, when they sway in the breeze, one can see dull eyes staring back, and a barely audible growl sounds.... That's why the forest is not usually entered, although it is rich in prey. Moderators: SkyClan, Flamestar
The Camp (4 sub-boards) The AirClan camp is a hill that has been hollowed out on on side to make a cave. The queens, kits, and elders sleep in the cave, and the medicine cat stores her herbs there. But the other cats would much rather sleep out under the stars when Silverpelt is shining bright and pure. Moderators: SkyClan, Maystar
The Territory (1 sub-board) AirClan's territory is a vast landscape of moors. Before WindClan came, all of the moors were their's, but they found they only hunted around the camp. So, they divided up the land, so the new Clan could have a place to live. As if to thank them for their kind deeds, there has been an odd increase in prey.... Moderators: SkyClan, Maystar
RiverClan Camp This little camp is located on an island in the middle of the river. There are a couple willows that surround the camp, making it practically invisible. But past the billowy trees, is a beautiful place. A shallow trickle of water flows through it, crystal clear, but no fish could ever make it up through there. The only downside is that the nursery is close to the river, and not very well protected. Moderator: SkyClan
RiverClan Territory (1 sub-board) Outside of the paradise-like camp, the rest of the island is their territory, along with a part of the land that's close to where FangClan cats go to fight. It's very rare that they go there, usually only swimming across to make sure the Clans are staying out, and that FangClan isn't advancing into the forest quite yet. Moderator: SkyClan
WindClan Camp The WindClan camp is somewhat similar to AirClan's. It's a dip in the ground, very much like their old home. They sleep in the center of camp, but there's bushes at the edges just in case is rains and the nursery. The medicine cat also places the herbs under a rock that has a hollowed out place underneath. Moderator: SkyClan
WindClan Territory (2 sub-boards) These moors are bursting with life, but it is also overgrown. The heather is so tall in spots that it's almost impossible to see what's ahead. It's slowly becoming more and more shorter and beginning to grow less as more cats move into the area. There's still much work to be done, though, after many moons of no cat moving around in that part of the territory. Moderator: SkyClan
ShadowClan Camp ShadowClan camp is like FireClan's, only more barren and not close to freaky woods. The walls are mostly made of mossy stone, but it's not a hollow. It's more like a foundation. In fact, it used to be a large two-leg nest, but a long time ago. All scent was gone, and ShadowClan didn't know. Now all that's left is the stony ruins, which serves as a very protective defense until they can fight. Moderator: SkyClan
ShadowClan Territory (2 sub-boards) Out here on the ShadowClan territory, the main prey are crows, healthy rats, and frogs. It sounds disgusting, but if eaten correctly, it serves as a very satisfying meal. Of course, even ShadowClan wouldn't eat it unless there was no other prey in the area. One might catch the occasional starling or thrush, if they concentrate and get lucky enough. Moderator: SkyClan
Botolf Pack This pack has a glorious territory, down in the valley between Snowpeak Mountain and Mount Summit. Deer, caribou, and moose often cross this area. If not caught, the prey usually pass into Channing Pack territory. When at war with Channing, they don't let any prey pass, but at peace they let anything they don't catch go through. Formerly Fallenwolf's pack. Moderators: SkyClan, Flamestar, .:.\\TIGER//.:.
Channing Pack The Channing Pack are not as fortunate as the Botulf, but don't let that make them look bad. The Channing wolves are normally very noble and excellent at plotting. This is the pack the new dictator Conall is from, who spoiled the Channing Pack name. He wants to take over Botolf Pack and hunt on their prey-rich grounds. Formerly Frostygaze's pack. Moderators: SkyClan, Flamestar, .:.\\TIGER//.:.
Big Oaks The Gathering takes place in the direct center of all of the Clans. It is surrounded by huge oaks that tower up to the sky, but leave enough room in the center for SkyClan to be seen, along with the moon. If a cat where mischievous enough, one could climb to the top and possibly communicate with SkyClan. But it's much easier and safer to just go to the Skystone or the SkyClan Tree. Moderators: SkyClan, Flamestar, Maystar
Skystone (1 sub-board) The Skystone is a sacred collection of six gems, one for each Clan, hidden underground. Little torches kept running by SkyClan warriors guide the way through a tunnel, and into the large cavern where the gems lay embedded in the walls. Falling asleep in this cavern connects a cat to SkyClan, to have dreams and receive warnngs. Moderator: SkyClan
SkyClan Tree The SkyClan Tree is, by far, the tallest and oldest tree in the forest, even older than the hundred-year-old trees in FireClan territory. This also serves the same function as the Skystone, but it's much easier to get to and anyone, warrior status and above, can come and talk to SkyClan. It's usually for problems between members that can't be resolved within the Clan, or just to meet with family and friends who have passed. Moderator: SkyClan

Meeting With Other Cats... Sometimes, there might be a time when a group of cats from separate Clans need to meet. Usually it's done secretly, and is against the warrior code if they fall in love. But there's always the rule-breakers who rebel against the system. Seriously, though, check with me (SkyClan) if you want to do that, though. I don't want a billion people going outside of the code. Some people have to stay within their Clans, or else it gets to be WAY to boring. Passworded to stop so many couples. Moderators: SkyClan, Flamestar

Loner's Land The rogues and loners of the forest sometimes keep to themselves here. Its a medium-sized wood off away from the Clans. If a cat is daring enough, they might head southwest to scope out the prey in Clan territory. Moderator: SkyClan
